33. Step forward and strike with fist
If the opponent kicks with his left leg, you relax your waist and shift your weight to the rear. Shift your weight to your left foot and turn your body and your right toe out. At the same time, lower your left hand, palm facing the body and fingers pointing down, to a point near the front of your right thigh.
Transfer your weight to your right leg. Simultaneously, raise your right hand to a point above and slightly behind your right hip, ending there in a loosely held fist with knuckles down. Just before your right fist reaches this position, step straight forward with your left foot and place the heel on the ground, without weight, foot pointing forward. Time your movements so that your right hand and the heel of your left foot reach their terminal positions at the same instant.
Shift 70 percent of your weight to your left foot, lower your body slightly, and rotate it to the left until you face directly forward. At the same time, punch downward with your right hand. Simultaneously, the left hand follows the motion and brushes to the left. Then stop just to the left of your left thigh, and right fist strikes in front of the waist.
