Learning yielder do not require pusher in push hand movement

 

The Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient movement which brings health and happiness to those people. We actual observed a playground that coaches were so courteous, and the students were so politeness. Today had formed a good traditional culture. We need to learn to let opponent on the pushing hand, and concerned with their safety and health, do not makes any person hurts.

 

Push hand movement put emphasis on guidance method whereby no attack and resist force. We should resolve the opponent force that can avoided any hurts during push hand. Many senior friends told me that the push hand movement is not good; they fear that might injured their body when their age was some more. Because they have no enough energy to resist opponent; they have degenerated on their strength when they have reached highly age, they still used in every muscle resisting opponent, but their physical power have become smaller. I think that push hand pursued relaxing and nature to remain health, you all were wrong with the principle of the push hand, you must quit any resistance and contend. So that I believe that you all must be continue to attend the push hand again only keeping relaxing and relaxing again.

 

I come to Taiwan from United States in 1990, I have got seriously lumbago I think I need to see a doctor for my waist. I am according to the doctor’s instruction to take medication, and I seek the propriety movement while I saw some people playing push hand with waist rotation and resolving skill. I identify which movement can make my waist stronger and must be recovering my backache. It is actual effective that I no longer to see the doctor during the 23 years, it have demonstrated with therapy my lumbago was effective today. However, I take part in the push hands movement, and followed the principle of push hands such as safety, health and happiness, I always asked students must followed no straining every muscle, indifference the win and lose, only concerned with more motion and drinking water. I only hope anybody get health and happiness.

 

We need to keep for concerning with ourselves health, and to think about any man was injured badly in the movement, this movement could not have someone want to participate them. Our purpose is health and happiness if is any fearing keeping in mind that movement is not worth. I appeal to the Tai Chi Chuan friends for learning push hand must be kept relaxing and relaxing forever.
