18. Cross hands
Transfer your weight to your right foot. At the same time, rotate your body to the right and turn the toe of your left foot toward the right until it points directly forward. Shift your weight to your left foot. Allow your right hand to move outward and downward as you shift to the left foot. Simultaneously, let your left hand move outward and downward toward the left side and continue to turn your body to right until your hips and shoulders face directly forward. When your body had completed to turn to right, the pivot of your left toe points the foot to forward. When all of your weight is on your left foot, draw the right foot straight back and set it down parallel to the left foot, one foot under each shoulder with the toes even. At this moment, your hands will have completed their downward course and are turned so the palms face your body. Transfer half of your weight to your right foot. As the weight shifts, raise your hands in front of you to form a latter X, slightly below shoulder level. The left hand is closer to you than the right, the right hand outside left hand. At the conclusion of this position, weight is equal between the feet.
