Begin your practice of Tai Chi Chuan by running through a preparation detailed description, and move on to learning Tai Chi 37 form. It is essential to be in a mental and physical state of relaxed awareness before practicing the form. Stand quietly in a peaceful environment, and take a few deep breaths. Deepen your breathing, filling the lower half of your lungs first, and allow your diaphragm to stretch down toward the Dan Ten in the abdomen.
