15. Brush knee and twist step
This is a repetition of the previous Brush Knee and Twist Step, and again shows the importance of the legs and arms working together in diagonal pairs. As the left leg bends in the final stance, the right arm is brought forward, and Chi energy flows between them. By coordinating the movements of the right arm with the leg, and vice versa, a total balance and harmony of movement can be achieved as the sequence is performed. The power generated by turning the waist to the left helps both arms feel weighted, adding strength to their relaxed but controlled movements.
